5 Things You Need To Hear Today

Do you realize that you are KNOWN, SEEN, and LOVED by Jesus? Well, I'm writing today to make sure that you know you are!!

Sometimes it can feel lonely in ministry. Trust me, I understand! Especially since I'm not actively on a local church worship team in this season and travel regularly.

But I wanted to let you know that you are NOT alone and I'm here to support and cheer you on in ministry.

1. WHERE GOD CALLS, HE EQUIPS

   Don't feel overwhelmed if you don't know how to do something or you feel inexperienced. You have everything you need to fulfill your God-given assignment. Take a deep breath and ask the Holy Spirit how you can grow and learn - He will show you! Believe His Word that you can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens you and SKILL UP!

   
   

2. GOD TURNS HIS EAR TO YOUR VOICE

   Many years ago, I was in my quiet time with the Lord and He gave me a mental picture as I was worshiping. I could see Him in the Heavenly place and He stops and says "Wait a minute! I hear Amber singing to me" and He turned towards the sound with a smile on His face.

    

   Now, I don't know if that actually happens, but I like to think it does and I most definitely know that He longs for that! He loves to hear each one of His sons and daughters lifting up their unique voice.

   
   

3. YOU HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE, AND ONLY GOD TO PLEASE

   As a former people-pleaser, I know that others' opinions and preferences can be the loudest voice we hear! Remember, you can consider suggestions and respect people's thoughts, but you don't have to give in to the fear of man. Ask God for direction in what He desires for the worship service, and read the Word to know what honors Him.

   
   

4. YOU ARE LOVED BY GOD BECAUSE OF WHO YOU ARE, NOT FOR WHAT YOU DO

   I say this a lot, because it points to IDENTITY in Christ; Something that many worship leaders and musicians seem to lose somewhere along the way. We can get caught up in the "doing" and in striving, instead of realizing that we can rest in just "being" a child of God.

   
   

5. GOD DELIGHTS IN YOU AND IS YOUR BIGGEST FAN

   God believes in YOU. He's always believed in you and is 100% FOR YOU and not against you. The Holy Spirit lives inside of you and has given you the empowerment to walk out your calling with boldness and confidence. You are the apple of His eye and He's proud of you.
